Frank Family Wines and David Burke Prime Team Up For Extraordinary Feast For the Senses at Foxwood Resort & Casino

Frank Family Vineyards of Napa Valley, California produces wines that live up to the heritage of the land on which they are produced. “The first course will include the Frank Family Brut Rosé 2012, pale salmon in color and on the nose, perfumes of fresh strawberries and warm Brioche rise from the glass. The second course has Frank Family Chardonnay 2014, a medium-light golden yellow with a fragrant tropical apricot and mandarin orange aroma with a note of sweet oak and hint of honeysuckle. A perfect pairing for seafood and shellfish. Frank Family Pinot Noir 2013 accompanies the third course with a bright ruby core and opens with aromas of black cherries, raspberries and spice. The palate is fleshy, loaded with fresh berry flavors and lush savory notes. The tannins are refined and provide elegance and structure,” Murphy added.

“The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa pairing with the fourth course is a much more friendly, supple, fruit-forward style of wine with loads of creme de cassis, plum, licorice and spice – an opulent, full-bodied wine. The fifth and final course features a Late Harvest Chardonnay NV – a dessert wine that radiates purity and opulence with its yellow amber hues. Intense aromas of dried apricots, quince paste and hints of pear lead into a wet stone minerality, classic of botrytized wines. The palate is beautifully balanced with layers of spice and honey that mingle with exotic notes of candied mango and pineapple,” added Murphy.

About the Frank Family Winery

During the 1980’s, Rich Frank was a long-time Disney executive and due to his busy schedule, couldn’t find the time to get away for long vacations. Soon he started coming to Napa on the weekends, realizing it was only a short plane flight away from Los Angeles. In 1990, he purchased a home in the eastern hills of Napa in Rutherford.

Leslie Frank is an Emmy-award winning television news anchor and reporter, covering some of the biggest stories of the last two decades. When her work took her to Napa Valley, she fell in love with it.
